Default Maximal minimap height is 50000

I have found out, that minimap triangles (imported by CTools BRRES-Editor) are only shown, if the height (y-value) is less than 50000. Can anyone conform this?

More Details:
I have analyzed the minimap "Summer Island", because it was the only track where my tools can't make the minimap visible in the center. Then I have found, that the track is very high. After lowering (and some other fixes) the minmap is now visible.

Then I have generated this OBJ file for tests: http://szs.wiimm.de/download/obj/50000.obj
It has long and short ramps from height 40000 to 60000. After creating a minimap with the CTools BRRES-Editor, half of the ramps (height<50000) is visible in the minimap.

EDIT:
My question: Is it a general issue of MKWii, or only one of the BRRES-Editor?

I think you are incorrect. Rainbow Dash Road II's minimap has a part of the road missing. HOWEVER, the starting line for the course is 55000 high, and it appears on the minimap fine. It's a bit later, when the height is about 75000 that it disappears. It might vary between slots.

In my archive I have "Rainbow Dash Road" (RC1 and RC1.1, but not "II"), and both have a max height of 18965.3 in the minimap:

Ok, I have done some more tests:

Vertices >= 50000 will not be shown, if the Y translation value is 0. If you increase this Y translation value, higher vertices are printed. It seems, that the minimal printed vertex is 100000 below the maximal printed vertex.

With the next release of my tools, the minimap correction with "wszst minimap --auto ..." will also adjust the Y translation value if needed.

So it depends on the y value of the bones. I thought that would just change the angle the minimap is viewed from.

Let me say it in other words:
Adding a value to y-translation you raise the view point, so that you can also see higher faces of the minimap.
