Little help guys... I cannot get the letterbomb to appear on my Wii. I have checked even months back, and it is not there.

I am currently using a MacBook with a USB Card Reader w/ a 2GB SD Card.

In my SD folder I currently have...

-CTGP Revolution v1
---apps
---boot.elf
---mkwii
---readme.txt
---riivolution

-Privateold
---letterbomb.zip
---wii[/SIZE]

It clearly says only to rename the private folder to privateold if you had a private folder before... 4. If your SD contains a folder called "private", rename it to "privateold", then extract the downloaded ZIP to the root of the SD card.

Also I'm pretty sure you'll need to extract the letterbomb instead of just leaving the it in a zip file.

I extracted the file and got a new file called private, which I then renamed to privateold. Inside the privateold folder there is a folder named "wii".

I also have CTGP Revolution v1 on my SD Card, so where did I go wrong?

In my apps folder there is boot.elf, icon.png, and meta.xml. What should I do about that?

Your not supposed to rename the private folder to privateold for the letterbomb, you change the old one which you had before extracting.

You should have

Riivolution
Apps
MKWII
Private
+ a boot.elf file

On the root

Extract both then go onto the message board and go back a few days.

omg no, you don't rename the private folder to privateold, it CLEARLY says:

It doesn't say rename the downloaded folder to privateold, it says if you had a private folder prior to this download, you rename that to privateold

Well I did all that. The only thing I can think of now... is that this just... does not work on a Mac Computer.

However, that does not make sense either because I got the letterbomb notice when I was attempting to get the Homebrew Channel. Ugh.

Would it be possible that someone can send me there letterbomb notice somehow? Or would that corrupt my Wii?

->(the letterbomb stuffs) it should have been extracted
privateold

-->app and title
--->(user content and game saves)<you dont want to have to delete these after using letterbomb now do you?


NOTE!!:
the wii does not open zip files and does not use the folder "privateold" (delete this and your user-content for games and save data if you dont want to deal with privateold requardless - you will lose your user-made data for games like brawl, and SD save data)

if a download is in a zip file, this means a bajilion files are included and you CANNOT UPLOAD FOLDERS TO THE INTERNET, only files,, so instead of giving a bajillion links of tediousness, we give a zip file that houses the files (ZIP files are a folder, but count as one file, not a directory)

privateold is a renaming tequnique to BACKUP your wii's SD card data unless you dont mind losing it since they are OVERWRITTEN by letterbomb when installed to your SD card
