High Definition is a Nintendo Gaming Community created on January 27th, 2009. Games we play in the community consist of mainly Mario Kart, but we also play a little bit of Super Smash Bros, Pokemon, and PC games. Despite being a casual gaming community, we also play Mario Kart 7 competitively. High Definition communicates on our chat box on our website (click banner at top), but you can also contact us on Skype for wars, and you can also contact us for wars on Mario Kart Wii as well. We play about 99% of our wars skypeless, so if we are calling against you it's a rare occasion. If you'd like to join High Definition, check the bottom of the next post.

High Definition was founded January 27, 2009 by 3 friends, me, ZJ, and Brandon. All of us had raced many people from various real clans, as well as seeing many of the top clans of the time in the TT top 10s. We decided to make a clan of our own for the fun of it, and that's how HD was born. I came up with the clan idea, Brandon thought of the clan name, and ZJ was just kinda there supporting it all. However, HD really wasn't even real at the time, we weren't even on any sites. We talked with more friends from our school, and a few joined as well, including Matt, Spencer, and a few others. We actually did pretty well for a single city clan. But later ZJ quit playing, and Spencer and Brandon were getting inactive. So, Matt & I decided to come here, and that's when we became a real clan. From there on, we recruited a few people here, and HD started becoming better, recruiting more people interested in the game. Things started off smoothly, but it almost died in November 09 though when half our active members quit to make a new clan, but we lived through that period of time of inactiveness, picked up some new members, warred more, and continued that process up until now. We became quite a tough clan competing for the top in WCL & MKC, who enjoyed racing skypeless all the time. As time went by though, the clan of HD came to a calm, peaceful end, and then the HD community formed so the members could still stay close. The community consists of many of the past racers of HD, and unlike many communities, we stayed active. The clan of HD has also returned to be a clan for Mario Kart 7. We plan to continue this Mario Kart community into future MK Generations as well, and always competing for the top but still in a casual manner. Today HD is still a community and a MK7 clan; nothing much else to be said.
