Just wondering if I should get it.

Diamond or Pearl? I think most people have Diamond, so is that one better? Or which is cheaper?

Also what makes them better than the older games... I think I had at least one pokemon game from each generation.

diamond = Diagla.. who is cooler imo.. but other then that. no real difference. same price.. but you may get different pokemon in one game then the other

it will last you...i reccomend pearl cause everyone has diamond plus palkia ( pearl) has a better moveset and is stronger at higher levels...but other than that the prices are the same and so is the gameplay...it your choice, but i reccomend it!

Go For pearl, plus if you have wifi you can always get a dialga. I have over 250+ hours on mine, its a great game in General, I l=just like pearl better cuz if you have followed any of the older games, dialga looks like another stupid dog, while palkia is a beast, lol. there both the same price and totally worth buying.

I have Pearl, because I thought Palkia looked better, and I figured more people would buy Diamond.

Pokemon is still the only turn-based RPG I'll play. If you've liked the previous versions, well, this is a good evolution. Fun game.

Same game but they have certain version exclusive Pokemon, with the main ones being Dialga for Diamond and Palkia for Pearl.

The games truly are worth it, I keep coming back to it.

It all just depends on your preference.
