Okay, Pokemaniacs, I have a question I hope someone can answer.

When you download a mystery gift, do you have to visit the man in the Pokemart before you leave the location you recieved the gift from, or can you leave and see him later?

I ask because a buddy of mine went to get the Gamestop Deoxys, yesterday, but had forgotten he was still stuck in that gave with Mira or whoever. Of course, he couldn't sit around in Gamestop and try to get out of that cave, and neither of us are sure if he'll wind up with the Deoxys or not. I couldn't find anything that said he would, but I also couldn't find anything that said he wouldn't.

Sure, once you successfully received your event Pokemon, the green bellboy will always be waiting there until you grab your mystery gift.

He should still have it.

o sorry hes got it hes just not sure what to do next is it something to do with a man in the pokemart when youv donr it and hell give you the thing from the mystery gift and he will stay there till you haVE BEEN I COULD be wrong

Theking, he already downloaded the gift, and knows how to get it, he's just trapped in that cave at the moment and couldn't find his way out to go meet the guy before he left gamestop.

Well then, once he gets out of the cave and runs to the nearest blue-roofed PokeMart, the bellboy will be waiting for him.
