Yoshi was already confirmed via artwork, but that is the first we've seen of him in game :D and The Ice flower was my favorite powerup in NSMBW :)

Now we have full screenshots showing yoshi, bushes and yoshi fruits, and the ice flower in use turning a torpedo ted into an ice cube

I think that meter above Yoshi's head marks how much fruit has been eaten. And I see a circular hill!
