Why dosent the wii version of rockband suport wifi. I wanted to play poeple aroudn the world n rockband like i did in gh3. Online play was the biggest reason why I even wanted rockband for the wii in the first place.(besides the drums)
Because Harmonix don't give a damn about the Wii. The console is totally capable of having online and character creator, but it was easier to just port it from PS2.
So next time wait for Guitar Hero: World Tour, at least Activision knows what Wii owners want (still waiting for the DLC though).
Yeah, GH World Tour is the way to go here. Luckily I had the privelege of getting Rock Band for the PS2 (for free as a gift, btw) and GH3 for the Wii. I don't know what site said it, but one of 'em said that the Wii version of GH3 was the "ugly step-sister" of the versions of Guitar Hero III. Far from it, if you ask me! At least with Wii's verson, you CAN go online. The controller is superior to the PS2's Kramer controller. Plus... everything is just smoother-looking.
Which (on a slightly off-subject note) leads me to this... what's the point of the EXT. port on the bottom of the Wii Les Paul controller? Maybe someone can reply on here, or just send me a PM... 'cause I'd really like to know that.
Anyways, RB for the Wii is nothing more than a port of what I already have. Though I do admit, that drum kit you Wii-version owners have must be better than the drums I have. It sucks being constricted by USB cables!
