Hi from Germany,

I have some trouble with the following problem:

1. I can not receive messages on my Wii. I can post mails and those arrive even on my computer, but when I reply (confirming the message - text message only) nothing arrives on my Wii..... what may be the reason.
Does Wii-to-Wii communication work, I want to try, so please send me a message wii code is: 2940 300 2976 7386

2. last week I was playing POP (from Wii-Ware) after reaching about 2 million points the game stopped (freezed screen). It was not possible to switch it off and even no reaction after pressing the reset button. So I disconneted the WII from the plug.... no reaction (like having no electricity!) Than I read i a German Forum this may happen from time to tme. So I unplugged all cables for about one houre... after that OH WONDER WONDER... everything works like before....
So my Question to this community... is this a common fault in the Wii or some production series, or just in the European version ?

About the freezing, I have never experienced this in-game (including WiiWare). The only thing vaguely similar to this is when I eject the disc from the console without returning to the Wii Menu before. Then the console freezes and the only way to get it back is disconnecting it from the plug.

So it may be some isolated random case, I don't think there is a specific problem with a production series or PAL Wiis. It could have happened on any Wii anytime, you just didn't get lucky.

(and I have an US Wii, but I don't think it matters)
