I guess this would be the place to ask this.
I think my MKW files might be doomed. Today I tried to customize my mii's name, so I downloaded Mii installer/extracter and such; but it ended up not working since my SD card is "SDHC" and 8 GB. So I just gave up for now and figured I'd play anyways without changing my name.
When I started up MKW-riivolution and chose my license, I decided to change my mii for that license. I noticed that the star was now a solid star rather than the hollow star like usual, and I was like "Oh woah did it work?" since the Mii I made in My Avatar Editor looks identical. So to test, I exited MKW and made another mii using the normal hollow star to test and see if it was different. I put that mii on another license, but figured out that it was just the font that I was using making them solid stars, which is kinda what I figured was going on since I had recently changed it.
So, slightly disappointed I guess, I just decided to race a bit on my normal license, and connected to wifi and such with no issue. After I was done I was gonna change the mii back to the normal one for the 2nd license that I tested the mii name with, but accidentally went to 1-player wifi (it's a habit) and while it was loading, the message: "this file cannot be used because the data is corrupted". It then asked me if I wanted to delete the file or return to the Wii home menu.
Stupidly, I thought "delete the file? So it's just gonna delete this license" and I didn't care since I never used that license anyways, so I said yes to delete it. It then brought me back to Mario Kart's title screen, and I pressed A and ALL my licenses were gone. I was like "oh ♥♥♥♥ oh ♥♥♥♥" and exited and loaded up the normal MKW to see if they were gone there too. Luckily, all my licenses still exist on the normal MKW.
SO, I guess my question is: is it possible to get my licenses back on MKW-riivolution, by like uninstalling/reinstalling it or something? Or do I gotta restart with a new license and stuff?
