Default How to use Boostarrows (without animation)

I want to use the boostarrows (without animation), but it doesnt work. Can anyone help me, how I can do that? (Arrows are white and background black.

(I hope, that Chadderz will create an update in near future, so that we can use animated textures without tricks)

Can I ask you a question?


Please don't make a new thread for every single problem you encounter. It gets really annoying coming and seeing a bunch of help threads by you all the time. Why don't you make one thread titled "Memphis' Hacking and CT Troubles" or something, so that when you need help, you don't make a new thread all the time.

Because I´m not the only one who can have this problem and if anyone is searching about the same problem he can find threads like there here. Collected threads helps one person, but it´s confused after a time and other persons have problem to find a good result, because in the thread is permanent change of subjects. Thats my personal experience and so I want to help to find solutions for the problem who someone is locking.

If this is undesirable please a Moderator or Administrator PN me and dont post an answer in this thread. It´s not helping to solve the problem.

Edit: In the next days (perhaps weekend) I will post pictures of my project, so that everyone can see, that I´m working seriously on a project and dont steal your time and nothing is coming up. I know, that there is no track I have released yet, but I want to give a perfect work and I need time to find a good way. This is done.

I know you want to make threads for all people who have troubles, but they could do a post search and find the answer, no matter if it's in one thread or 1,000. And for your answer: create a texture with arrows, put it on your boost panel, set it to boost in KCL. I can be smart too. I'm not just an idiot. That's only 1/16 of my heritage.

Don't treat Memfis like how *so* many people treated me, please.

Why does it matter to you if he posts a lot of threads?

There is no need for you to be concerned on the matter, so leave him alone.

Memfis, you can simply placed your texture on a face, and keep it componentless.

Then, copy the face, and put it into a component called "Z".

Place the copied face over the componentless face directly, and apply the boost texture on that face.

You can equally reduce each face until it's at a point to where it can repeat if you wanted it to.

I did, but it doesent work. It dont look as an animation-boost (which is stoped) and it´s not even transparent as in Sketchup. Here is a picture.

Not quite on topic, but close enough so I'll post anyway; just make sure that if you intend for the last of the three to be a trick ramp (which I hope you do since it is leading on to a jump) it will require a different kcl :/ lots of CTs have all boosts as non-trick or all as trickable even when they're no supposed to be. When that happens it looks kinda unprofessional...
