Warning Whining Ahead

i have just played 2 wifi matches both of which i came 2nd/3rd and when i started before those to races i was on 8716 vs race points and now i am on 8589 vs race points.
so in total i lost 129 points in two races
but the thing i don't get was that i was in second and third, yes so a person with lower points gets 1st that doesn't mean i lose over 50 points each time that happens. and also the other thing is that when you come first against normal wifi players you get about 5-17 points when you come first.
i think that nintendo should at least let you try and get them back easier

I think I was in second and got +0 once. What I think should be done is creating seprate rooms for different ranks.2k's plays with 2k's, 6ks with 6k's. Of course you can choose which room to play in, it dosen't have to be your rank. All in all you get more points but compete against tougher opponents.

The sad thing with that system is that 5k's will never see anyone with a rank off 9999. Which is sad :(

The lower the rankings from the guys u are playing against, the less points u will get...
THe more points u have, the less points u wil lget also...

i agree,differant rooms for differant ranks would be a good adition to WFC
and the funny thing is,whenever ur in a race with about 8 people if u come like 6-4th place u still lose a bucketload of points! very wierd...
and my rating was over 8,000 yesterday but due to disconnections and losses in like 4th place i went back down to 7,700

Thats supposed to be how the server works anyway, it says in the booklet somewhere that you are put into groups with similar ranked players, although it hardly ever turns out that way! I always end up racing n00bs with a score of 4-5k and occasionally some people a little higher!
