UNTIL, there came like alot of people including someone with 9999 VR.
So, I was item raped all the time and because it were tracks where I suck at and with 12 people.. even when I had a star, I'd been pushed offroad by a Bullet Bill and even with a Mega Mush I kept being hit by stars, etc. It really pissed me off and I now got 9020 VR left. D'':
NOES I LOST 300 VRz !
Ohwell, it did happen. But I dont care that much. I guess I'm not good enough to get 9999 VR. :/ Or it is my bad luck, cause believe it or not, I'm a person with very little luck.

Count, I'm sure you are good enough, you are just putting too much importance on it. The same thing was happening to me, I seemed to stay around 9300 or so. So what I did was use a spare license for messing about, one that it didn't matter how good or bad (or drunk!) I was.
Soon, the messing about license had overtaken the main one as I could drive without fear (I got to about 9600 on it before I even noticed). But at the end of the day they're just numbers on a screen - all the top players will tell you that VR & stars mean nothing, but that doesn't stop you from wanting that "badge of honour", I know, I speak from experience. Anyway, it wasn't long before I could apply my new found attitude to the main license, & got my 9999 rating.
The messing about license dropped to about 8000 the other day after me & the girlfriend got back from the pub, but we had a great laugh, which is how it should be.
