Question about gold wheel - Mario Kart Wii

I usually dont use the wii wheel so my percentage of time using it is 20%. How much do you need to get the gold wheel? Is it like 50%, 75%, or 100%? Or none of those?

I looked on GameFaqs, and it says that you just have to use the Wii Wheel excessively.

you have to use it from 95-100% of the time you play. =]

100%. But if you don't want to play online and lose points using the wheel(you may not be pro at the wheel), do GP's, and VS races with the CPU's, that brings up the percent.

You also have to turn the wii wheel upside down and control the game with inverted controls. If you play it like this, you only need to play with it for 20%
