Instead of clogging up the forums with threads about getting thing's like stars in 1st place, and bullet bills in 6th,
I thought it'd be easier to make a thread where you just post the closest you've been to the front whn you got a uncommon item for that position.
For me I think it was a blue shell in 4th, which isn't really rare but I never even get blue shells in 12th.

Exactly, so Imagine what I'm thinking when I never get them in almost any position, and get one in 4th.

Yeah, mushrooms are quite uncommon I think...
It's when people start getting stars in first place you get confused.
Although once, I kinda got a bullet bill.
On maple treeway I was just starting the race and didn't get a good start, so when I wass eigth I got the bullet bill, took the shotcut and used it when I was in the lead!

heh good one ... i think i remember i also once got a gold mushroom in 5th or 6th. But i ended up speeding up to 2nd before using it. Ended up miles ahead of everyone.

lolz on peach beach on the short cut i got a box so i was in 12th then i got in first form the short cut and hadea bullet in first!

i got 2 mushrooms in first in one race you have to get 16 iteam boxs in a race and it has to be going throw and again and again and then every 2 you get a shroom well thats what pepl think

off topic - where is the short cut on peach beach that takes you from 12th to 1st??
