I donno if i would, thats a lot of freakin characters and cups. Would have to be something really worth it.

The reward is the shiny triple star next to your name online. That's enough for me, because I like to show off.

I've seen some of the "auto" triple star racers though, and was ashamed that I share the same icon with them. I am of the opinion that playing GP on automatic should cap the rating at 2 stars. :\

I haven't tried beating the Yoshi Falls ghost yet, but the Shy Guy beach ghost is pretty easy. Use toadette with the magikruiser and cut all the corners by driving in the shallows. Watch the time trial WR to see where to use the mushroom (you basically cut through the first grass area).
