I... need help

First ever topic i've made for such a stupid request but yea. Its not to do with how to get 3 stars, how to beat expert ghosts and all that since thats easy, what I need to know is if anyone can or knows how much of a delay/gain in time the small jumps do, such as the gray one in Moo Moo Meadows or Coconut Mall.

Like I said, its a really random request but I can't access my wii for a while to find out, just need to know this information for future usage.

Also if it can be done, I need information for King Boo/Rosalina on Bowser Bike, nothing else.

Also: No - I won't add you @ those random people who spam in every thread to add people.

All jumps in Moo Moo Meadows and Coconut mall help.

But doing them with a sharp drifting bike like the Spear might stop you from doing them well. I drift to the side when I take most jumps in Coconut mall.

Just the sharp drifting bikes crash a lot like that, that is why taking the blue ramp in Moo Moo Meadows can be a pain. =P

Hmm.. I tend to do the incredibly sharp drift at the coconut mall one which I think helps me, but thanks for clearing this up, its been a tad confusing to me recently since i've seen a lot of people avoid those ramps in clan races.

they probably avoid them because they have a bike/kart with poor handling..

in refrence to nearly all world record holders the non rainbow colured jumps in moomoo are useless if you can wheelie well.

if u mean the fountains and flower beds in coconut then wheelie past them too its faster by a small amount (only fountaibn if you HAVE to or if u want an item box)

it comes alot from experience like the last jump with the rotating flames on Bowser Castle is faster if u wheelie over it rather than get the jump boost etc

this is just my opinion ofc

They all used mach bikes, bowser bikes and the odd magikruiser or other vehicle, I think its about the slight speed disadvantage of hopping off the jump in the first place for moo moo meadows as to why they didn't go on it (I followed in their footsteps by doing a mini-boost instead of the jump).

It's a tough call, but I'd say a mini turbo+wheelie is definitely better, while just a mini turbo or a wheelie is usually not. However, it depends a lot on what speed (vehicle and character dependent) you are taking that jump at. The higher the speed the more horizontal momentum you will have in the air. Also, (I have not confirmed this), it seems that weight plays a factor in how long you stay in the air after a jump. The heavier, the less time you should spend in the air.

King Boo is fail: +2 handling (sucks, drift is what matters) +1 offroad
Rosalina is good all around, almost an exact clone of Daisy, but heavyweight: +1 speed, +1 handling, +1 mini turbo

Bowser Bike is just good, period.

Hmm well i'll take that into consideration and I guess i'll experiment with different ways of approaching them.

Also I know all of the character stats but i'm one of those people who couldn't care less about them (unless in TT) and just picks his favourite character on his favourite bike.. I can win on them easily against the so called awesome daisy+mach bike combo ;P.

It's a good idea to miss the grey ramp at the end of Coconut Mall. The people who posted here recommending you take it obviously don't know that it is slower to use that grey ramp.

I know its slower.. well now I do anyway , gives me a chance to get a slightly better item if people are close to me. I use really random techniques to win such as always getting the first item box at last place or similar, bashing people as much as I possibly can throughout the 3 laps to hold them up and so on
