When it has something to do with your internet and you get D/Ced quite frequently, it get's frustrating as heck. There's at times when I want to play online so badly, but I always get punished by a d/c before I can even get a race starting. If you don't think that's bad, try getting it hit with you if you finish a race and get the d/c BEFORE you get awarded Race rating.

Something almost as annoying is when you select a track & it takes like 10 minutes for it to load. Or everyone votes & it takes 10 minutes to select a track. Very annoying.
The worst D/C i had was on Sherbet Land when i was about to win in a race of about 10-12 people & some of them had high VR. I think i was getting to the final set of boxes & i had quite a lead. Even if i'd been hit with a blue shell i'd have won.
I then got d/c.

It's unpredictable when it'll happen, so why not just play the game expecting it? I always expect lag or DC's when using Nintendo Wifi. If it doesn't happen, all the better. If it does, connect back and continue to have fun.

Obviously it can't be predicted, but when you don't often win & you're about to win in a field of 12 other racers & you get d/c, just "expecting" it to happen doesn't make it any less frustrating.

If i won even 50% of my races i wouldn't care, but it's very rare that i win at all.

Btw, There are also GOOD D/Cs that HELP your vr/br. Lets say youre in a vs, and all of a sudden everyone else stops, then they all disappear, and you end up first!

Really? I had this. There were 8 of us, then there were 3, then 2, then the other guy disappeared & the game d/c'd. I fired back up & had less VR.

If you've lost more than half of your races due to disconnects, I'd say check your connection... Also, winning isn't everything. <3
