I have a little question about the WiFi battle.. i saw very very clear that i crushed an opponent with a mega mushroom, but the point (balloon battle) DOESN't count, forcing me to lose a lot of BR again.. does anyone know why this point does not count (i crush ppl more, but then no points gets added at all, and it's all about item hits, well a mega mushroom crush is also a item hit in my opinion. Any toughts?

This is not because of lag, I have crushed many people before and the points don't go up. Same thing if you use a star to hit someone, you don't get a point all the time. I know how now though >:)

But why do you sometimes get a point, and sometimes don't? Is it random selected or something? If it was, WiFi battles were just all luck..

Ok, I'll give you a hint when you're using those items to attack people. Don't 100% fully. That's what I have to say. I can't tell you anymore beyond this point.

Are you keeping it secret? I think it will be handy for more ppl to know.. and i dun even know what you mean

It´s lag. I do lose a lot of points that way, being illuded into thinking I actually hit the opponent when I didn´t.

You may be a tad more succesful with using Megashrooms for offense if you use a kart. These are much larger and allow you to have a larger hit range. However I really don´t like using these items for offense though, they´re best for defense, as chasing down an opponent with this activated only reduces the odds for you to hit them (you´re only vunerable to Stars, so it´s perfect to use whenever you´re in a tight situation or about to be Blue Shelled).

Also, another tip I can add, play Continental Battles instead. Usually lag is minor there than in Worldwide (a few days before I used to get a lot of disconnects there, though...).
