Mushroom Gorge mushroom dodge!!!!!

If you saw the video of Wrath, you know that you can dodge a blue shell w/ a mushroom in MKW, but does it work on MK7???? It worked, for me.:This happens on one wifi match, I was having a huge lead on mushroom gorge(with a shroom), then this blue shell comes. Because I was bouncing on a red mushroom, I randomly pressed shroom and tricked on the mushroom. To my surprise, I dodge it. And there is no way you can dodge a blue shell in the air.(without gliders) So that means it must be the mushroom that dodged the shell.
My estimation is that you need to have a shroom to dodge
a blue shell with a red mushroom because of the unbouncyless of the mushrooms in MK7, but in the video, wrath did it without a mushroom.
Sadly, I didn't record it. But let me heard your comments!!!

In mk7 you can dodge a blue shell from any point (even in the air with no glider etc.) with a mushroom. The timing is tricky, but once you get used you can certainly do it again. Although I was not there, most likely you dodged because of the mushroom you used and not the mushroom you bounced on.

Yes I've dodged a few on mushrooms, can do it at any time so long as you use a mushroom at the right moment as far as I know

no, he didn't dodge the blue by using the shroom item, he literally bounced off actual mushroom on MG and dodged it, it shows in the vid.

Yeah but it is hard to know which one is correct because chances are low that you get a shroom and the blue shell comes and you are at a red mushroom. I already have a hard time dodging a blue shell on land with a mushroom, so this is certainly luck.

!OMG! Well, you can do that (obviously) with a shroom, it's easier that way, or a ramp. But shrooms are easier because you can change the angle (as ramps go straight, but you can turn after, but you don't plan it, but with shrooms you can.
