Earlier, Whilst playing Mario Kart 64, the UN-doubtable best Mario Kart ever, I realized that the CPU has a totally unfair catchup system.
If you don't understand or realize... Watch the video, pay close attention of Luigi and Bowser's speed after they get hit by something and how fast they close the gap between myself.
yea MK64 had the most exaggerated rubberbanding of all MKs
I mean rubberbanding existed since SMK ( choose Koopa , enjoy having Luigi 2nd place every race unless you rape him on last lap)
but MK64 had not only a big rubberbanding ( 2 CPU players going at mushroom speed when outside player's sight ) but also a rubberbanding glitch ( when the 2 "angry" CPUs get raped and another CPU manages to get first and get out of sight , he goes at Star speed and is impossible to catch up except with shortcuts)
when playing MK64 on emulator ,I have a Gameshark code which turns all 7 CPUs into angry CPUs makes 150cc GPs much more challenging when combined to some extra speed bonus
in all MKs theres rubberbanding but none of them have the ridiculous catching up speed that MK64 CPU has.
yea, when i hit them they go back at maybe 4th place but then about 15 seconds later they r right behind u again. Its like they have infinite mushrooms and they're using it
