There are millions of people in america that should get that prize miles beofre obama.
honestly, all he's done thus far is give money to those corperate giants that need it the LEAST! Where did all the talk about THE ORDINARY HARDWORKING AMERICAN go?

This prize is recognizing him helping america in the future, which the way things are going, isn't gonna happen.

i wasnt disagreeing with Obama. I was just saying that if a lot of people were in his position, they would easily go to saying that they were embarrassed just to gain public appeal.

I dont think Obama is a bad president, and im definitely not going to judge him this early into his presidency. I know obama couldnt do anything about winning the prize, refuse it and look like he is trying to please everyone or seem egotistical, or do what he did and get flames from the people who think that he doesnt deserve it. It just seemed that you posted as if when he says he is embarrassed it changes what still happened. Sorry if that isnt what you mean, its what i interpreted.

2. If all of the troops just end the war and come back it will be like saying the war was for nothing and the lives lost were for nothing. I don't think we should have gone to war in the first place, but we should at least back off some and let the Iraqis do what they feel best for some time. its kinda ironic how usa is supposed to be the land of the free yet we go into other countries and try to force our beliefs on them.

What's the matter about what happend? Obama had nothing to do with winning it. He was given the award and now some of the people that took part in choosing him for the award have publicly explained why they did it. Google it if you want.

If anything this just shows how sad and hateful this country is. :(

7. Attempts to cut taxes for at least the middle class
8. Attempts to cut spending drastically
9. Denounces Chavez, Castro, and other dictators
10. Attempts to minimize, decrease expansion, or lower the expansion rate of the size and scope of government
11. Denounces every Marxist in his life
12. Denounces the last three administrations
13. Attempts to reduce lobbying
14. Embraces the Constitution as America's sacred document
15. Stops apologizing to the world and becomes a proud American who doesn't care what other people think of us

1. That's opinion. I think it keeps us safer, but there's leeway.

15. This is where I draw the line. WE NEED TO CARE about what other people think of us. We import oil, and you obviously need oil for day to day life. We import so many things its not funny. You don't want to induce a bunch of stupid embargos, right? It'll just make your own life worse.
