With the recent events of SOPA/PIPA and military imprisonment acts, I think this country will be done if we don't get a new Congress.

Congressmen are greedy. And who do we blame? Most of the time Obama, but it's these 'money-hungry' Senators that we supported and they will mainly do nothing all day. More and more people are finally realizing what is happening in America. Soon, there will probably be a Civil War again. Money hungry powers vs. Americans who support the Constitution. Even with the petitions we give and the protests we do, Congress still won't listen.

And I think the main reason why is one place. In my opinion, it's Hollywood. Probably houses the greatest actors, directors, and hosts of all time. Get paid big, then they pay a lobbyist to make a bill. And with SOPA, I think what Congress is trying to say is Shut the **** Up to us and other protesters. They must know about what happens with the internet. To me, this country is heading towards Obama's Socialism.

What needs to be done is:

Reform Congress. There is a guy named Paul Babeu who is running for the House in Arizona. He has very firm points, and he will not be manipulated by money.

Remove Obama
I really think he did this whole White House thing because to me, he only cares about luxury. And he over abuses it each day not having a conscience about the country's needs.

JFK is right. If we want to do something about a certain conflict, we unite(refer to Pearl Harbor attack).

Weelll.. our country is kind of falling apart. Low economy, really bad laws, etc. But it's not all Obama's fault. He didn't make this economy bad, our previous president left us off to a start on something like this. Also, he doesn't approve of Sopa, so Sopa is unlikely to pass.

And many of the people who approve of Sopa are people who are sick of their work being stolen. These kind of people are song artists, bands, people that appear in films. They asked for Sopa because many people are illegally downloading their music, videos, and softwares for free, thus, making them lose money that they could be making.

However, Sopa and Pipa try to do more than that, with Pipa tracking our IP address and Sopa blocking every single thing that has to do with copyright. Already so many people have went against it, so we are uniting, and the whole White House doesn't approve of Sopa, so Sopa's most likely a no go.

As to our economy (also to what is tearing up our country), we could probably blame all the wars we're having, not Congress most times. We just keep going into wars that we really don't need to be in.

But I suppose that we could ask for a smarter, better, more efficient congress, one that doesn't care about their money, but everyone's, and one that's smarter about what they're doing.

The President isn't to blame, he could actually be powerless in this since Congress or the Court could trump his veto. Have faith in all the people who still believe in the 1st Amendment. This can't go through if we all stand up for our rights. I think justice will prevail and everything will be fine.

Agreed, the president is just a symbol of power, technically, he has a lot of power. Sopa and Pipa are being really really dumb. you know what would happen if they do blackout sites, Mass Chaos!

To me he does. That quote has impacted me alot and has made me rethink on how our country us running.
