While media can have some very minor negative effects on children, I don't think Naruto was responsible for that kid's death. Anyone thinking clearly could predict the outcome of sticking your head in the ground. Any parent who denies that it was the kid's fault for burying his head in sand that he died is simply afraid of the media, more specifically anime, because it's alien to them.
Yes it does influence and maybe causes a disease. My lil bro has the disease. It is when you repeat things you have seen or done. (he plays GH too much :p) I read stories about a COLLEGE boy playing halo for 18 hours straight and killed people because of it...
It's the main reason why so many kids have political opinions when they themselves have no experience surviving in this current economy.
I'm sick of it, I believe you shouldn't have an opinion on something until you've experienced it yourself.

It's not, but kids having strong political opinions when they hardly even know what they're talking about(or have ever experienced it themselves) is a negative product of the media.
I think that it only influences some people. They don't know how to keep it in the show or game, and they want to do that.My friend is a good example, he copies alot of stuff, main reason why he can't play GTA. If you can't mentally handle the media, don't watch that kind of media, switch to an alternative.
Plus, the shows should not be held responsible, it is the parents job to teach their kid right and wrong while watching these shows, if you don't take the time to do this, then it's not the shows fault.
