The Shellslingers Clan was formed in 2007 for a different combat racing game entitled Jak X under the name The Jak X Gunslingers and enjoyed incredible success that included being ranked within the Top 10 North American Clans and the number one result for "Jak X clan" searches on Google.com. We wish to bring that fun to Mario Kart Wii, the latest installment of the franchise that invented the combat racing genre.


Shellslinger Forum
-What would life be like if you didn't have to wade through silly topics to get to discuss Mario Kart Wii with other adults? Find out by using the Shellslingers Forum.-

Shellslinger Chat
-Complete with a general gaming lobby, the Shellslingers host ways to chat with other adult gamers in general or get right to the meat of Mario Kart Wii by going to its Mario Kart Wii Specific Chat.-

Frosty Pints
-Never let yourself get too serious about Mario Kart Wii by joining other members as they lead drunken raids into World Wide races. Grab some brews, a headset, and get the party rolling!-

-Are you not able to download Skype? Not a problem. Shellslingers offer a voice chat that requires no huge software download or even logging in.-

-Let our jukebox provide the soundtrack to your racing. You can even submit new tracks to be included on the playlist within our forums.-

-Do you want to watch a movie while chatting with fellow SS members? That is exactly what the Shellslingers Theater feature is for! Movies and television shows are streaming 24/7.-


Open enrollment is currently active for men and women the ages of 18 and over. You need only to do the following to become a member:

Are you all really adults who play Mario Kart Wii?
-Yes. We are all at least 18 years of age or older. Every friend code for the game and every feature or event we host is exclusively for your fellow mature gamer.

What do I need to do to join?
-Just be at least 18 years of age and register an account in our forums. That's it!

Is there a VR requirement?
-Nope. None. Just come to have a good time.

There are so many friend codes features at Shellslingers. How do I choose which people to add?
-We highly recommend that new members visit the chat and forums when you are about to play. That way, you can get a feel of which members are on during the times you are on.

Do Shellslinger members voice chat with each other?
-Yes, we do, and quite often. We mainly use Skype, which is free download software. If Skype is not possible, we also directly offer Voice Chat that has no big software downloads and no log-in requirements. Voice chatting is not required, but it is recommended to get the most out of your social experience.

Do Shellslingers compete in clan wars?
-Typically, no. We strive to keep the environment within the Shellslingers to be a fun, casual, and social experience. These goals are often complicated or placed on the proverbial back burner when clans do frequent clan wars and practices. Shellslingers is a perfect place for the times you just want to turn on the game and play with friends.

Do I need to quit my present clan to be part of Shellslingers?
-No. Never. The Shellslingers is a nonexclusive Mario Kart Wii community experience. So much more, in fact, that many of our members and some some of our leaders are also steadfast members of other clans.

Heh, thanks. I understand that I will be turning away some totally great players like yourself because of the clan's mission statement. My hopes are to tap into a different niche group and need...not necessarily to operate on the same level (or goals) as other traditional clans.

hey, i'm more then intreste4d in joining your clan.. i dont have much experience with clan or friend work on MK wii, but i have lots of racing exp and online experience.. infact i beat asians and hackers <__< no joke, i pwnt jump hackers in about 3 races a few days ago..
