I'd say you guys could both use some improvement, and in terms of skill I'd say you are probably about the same, but Eirik seems to integrated the text more fancily.
You guys should check out some tuts or other forums for tips to improve. Needs moar depth, better colour schemes so try gradient maps/photo filters/color balance/color selection/levels and fiddle with those things.
But in terms of overall outcome, from a purely aesthetic view, I'd say Eirik's stands out the most. It's very monotone, but the colors in Sylar's don't blend well, so for starters try gradient maps to blend things in better next time so they don't clash as much.
tl;dr - I choose Eirik.
