Is not so strong lol. Everytime I see it, it phails, I've seen it 2HKOed by a YanMA, not Mega, Yanma.
Even the specs set which is supposedly all about powerzz doesn't deliver much, it's easily walled and overall, the whole Latias thing is pretty predictable.

They lead with Yanmega, simple.

Latias has alot of options, people are just being conformists and using the most "effective" set.

Latias IS strong, my sub CMer has single handedly swept down entire teams on her own. her only reliable counter is tyranitar, and even he can fail to defeat Latias... sometimes i decide to use HP fighting on my Latias... bye bye tyranitar. in fact, she is the only bulky pokemon capable of sweeping teams with over 100 base speed, the only other one who was that was Garchomp, who is know Uber. furthermore her other thought-of counter, scizor, can be handled simply by HP fire, and scizor fails to OHKO her back with CB bullet punch.

Ok, so they have a Yanmega out.
Player opposition has two choices:
1- Switch Latias out to it being a complete moron
2- Phaze it out, so when it comes in, it is easily taken out by SR.

Yeah, Latias is too easily predicted, and boring to use in my opinion.
