I remembered in PKMN crystal you could, after beating the elite four, go to the kanto region and battle the gyms there

Anybody else hopes that Red has a better team in the remakes?

He also needs to have a better backstory and they should pull a swerve and reveal him as the champion and you have to beat him in order to truly become the champion and he had no dialogue in G/S/C kinda felt like you were facing a generic trainer hopefully Nintendo won't manage to screw-up the remakes like they did with firered and leafgreen.

Red doesn't need a better team. What he DOES need for his pokemons though are decent movesets ;/.

Nah he doesn't. His Snorlax was rape even if it were level 45 *shot*.

Give his pokemons better movesets.... and I bet you a £20 he'll be a challange. Heck - give ALL of the Gym Leaders/Elite Four's pokés with better movesets. Maybe alter their pokemons a little bit as well?

I hated it when Will had two Xatu's.
