I´m about to start wasting my time on Time Trials.

First of, I´m using karts. Is that very bad? In any case, I want to know the best strategi with karts, especially on straights. In MKDD there was something called SSMT. Now I want to know how to build up my speed.

I feel very bad doing just nothing at the straights.
And I do want to know if theres a strategy page, where it is shown all the tracks and the best and fastetst way through it.

I know all the tracks very well, all I need to know is how to speed myself up.

How do I get the last Medium Kart?

And so I detected something about the bikes. Whats the strategy behind crossing the grass and do not even lose any speed, and with no mushrooms...
I was trying an MT followed by the D-pad. Though it went out bad. Is there only some special bikes that are able to do this?

Example of what I´ve seen is crossing the last grass in N64 Mario Raceway, taking the shortcut in SNES Mario Circuit.

And is there a way to challenge a friends ghost data? Could be very funny and useful.

All the WR's are done in bikes, but the Kart records honestly aren't super far behind.
Both references above this post will help. (which are in fact, the same XD)

On the straights, you snake. Which is the same as it was in MKDS and MKDD. It's harder to snake because of how the MT's work, but watch vids on Thino's YT vids and you'll see how to do it.

Need to be more specific on the last medium Kart, but Search for Mario Kart Wii Unlockables on YT, and I bet you'll find it.

On all bikes you lose speed in offroad, but there are some that lose less speed, thus allowing you to not lose the MT. These bikes are the Magikruiser and the Dolphin Dasher. Both Examples you mentioned, however, use a shroom.

To challenge a friends ghost data, you need to get them to send you the ghost, you then beat it and send back, they beat it and send back, and thus you improve each others times.

To the ghost data thingy. Do you mean sending memory card, or exact how? I cant find any send ghost alt. in the mario kart channel or even Mario kart :)

No problem. But I can only send up to 5 ghost data in a while. Though there is a pretty bad response in the Time Trialing, I did beat the 6 challenges I had. i which the acticity was a bit higher
