I'll take the bate and help you out some more Darknight. A bump is when you post in a thread simply to "bump" it to the top of other threads within it's respective category. Most folks just say "bump" while others may come up with a clever line to accompany it such as: "Oops sorry but I 'bumped' into this thread on page 2".

There you have it.
