IM Toolbar - Mario Kart Wii

Have you noticed many websites, such as MySpace, Facebook, FriendCodes, etc., have a toolbar at the bottom of the webpage that lets a user IM their friends that are online? That would be a great addition to this forum.

I don't think it would be too good of an idea. People would use the IM too much and the regular posting stuff would decline.
