I was thinking of a stickied thread that would show a time line of the forums. It could consist of the staff changes, and the events throughout the years of this site. I thought it would be a nice idea to see what has happened here instead of having people constantly repeat themselves, just a thought.

Don't put "Please Read" on a thread unless it's a GOOD idea...

Interesting idea, but people are too lazy to take the time for it and keep it updated.

You mean that thread dedicated to former mods? That thread turned completely into spam.

I don't think anyone is willing to dedicate a sufficient amount of time into procuring such a timeline because it would be tedious and ultimately unrewarded.
