m/d/y is much easier, 10/13/09 is my birthday, if you're honestly confused when you read that date theni won't know what to say. it's so obvious

We are actually capable of swapping two digits around in a date (amazing, I know).

We're not suggesting that Americans be forced to read dates in our format (well, I'm not). Most BBs offer a setting in the user panel to display dates in the user's own locale though; why doesn't this board?
