Last time, it was about not being able to have more than 3 characters for some reason.

This time, it's a bit different.

My clan tag shows up sometimes, and other times, it just doesnt show up at all. It's just sproadic. Did I break the system of something?

the tag doesnt show up sometimes everytime when using quick reply , but is back there when refreshing the page

must be just a javascript problem , doesnt really matter since the final post does display the tag

PS : what was v1? tag were never limited to 3 characters ever since it has been introduced O_O

The clan tag is glitchy/messed up. It's also abused.

1. We need a pre-determined list of established clan tags to choose, ending the abuse problem.
2. Get rid of the italics since it leans too much over the username.
3. Fix the Quick Reply glitch.

2., 3. Agreed, they're minor problems anyway.

In terms of appearance of the clan tags, I think it might be better if:
- All clan tags were the same colour instead of matching the colour of the member's rank (regular, VIP, mod, etc.)
- Add a space between clan tags and usernames so that it's not conjoined to the name and the italicized font doesn't lean into it
- Better yet, remove italics altogether since it looks ugly. =P



I think making a fixed list of clan tags to choose from WOULD be an ideal solution if it was possible to put someone in charge of updating that list instead of it being a pain in the ass for the admins to update.

But it could work under certain conditions where you'd have to apply to have your clan added (via a form) and its approval would be based on certain criteria
- Your clan may have to have been around for a certain amount of time (eg: 30 days)
- And/or your clan may have to have a certain number of active members (eg: minimum 10 members)
- And/or your clan thread will have to have a certain number of posts (eg: minimum 500 posts)

The only problem would be eventually when clans die out, you're going to have a bunch of dead clan tags listed, and no one would give a rat's ass to go through the list and weed them out.

In my honest opinion, that's stupid.

nah Keko there are just too many clans out there and alot of little buttholes would whine because they would want a star in their tag instead of the [] things.

I've only used the clan tag once because basically it sucks.
