We should remove the filter completely. Having an on/off option is pointless as any member could turn it off regardless of their age, age filters are stupid because the Internet is anonymous and anyone can lie, and wasting our time looking for a way to protect the younger members' minds with asterisks is unnecessary because just about every single member here knows the bad words, knows what they mean and uses them freely inside and outside the web. Asterisks only get in the way and screw up words that just so happen to contain swear words such as the aforementioned mi****me and wris****ch. They are also easy to bypass, which renders them useless.
