All the "top tier" clans are doing the same to Unity as they are to FV, so I am 100% on Xene's side. We use shock games because we're capable of using them. Feel that it's sad and that you're losing because of it? Well then go out there and do something about it -

TEAM training and voice chat, along with a lengthly guide I made.
It's just sad to go out and respect such well-done clans and get the shi* because elitist clan leaders/members want to cry about "ZOMG DEY R DA SANDBAGGERZ IF UNLY DEY COOD RAZE AND SUB x.xx.xxx ON xxxx LYKE MEE DEY WOOD BEE PROWS." beatusplzthentalkcrapkthnxbai.
At this point, I believe FV will be a good matchup and cannot wait for our first WCL match. I hope we get top 2 in our tier to open up the eyes of such ignorant clans!
As for the whole Serk thing, try ignoring them. The poor, poor fellow threatened to use his powers in the WCL to kick us out simply on the grounds of our sandbagging. LOL! How sad is that?
Think items are cheap? Well, let me bring this concept up:
There was a perfect WR in BC3 with the old cut. A new one was discovered and the only way to beat his time is to do the new cut. You have to redo all three laps now and sub a new time. Was finding a new cut CHEAP?
No. Are you all trying to do the new cut and sub a new time?
Yes.
That is how item games works. One person finds a new method (KT), his secrets are revealed, they are emulated, and every clan is brought back to an even field where the winning clan is that which excels more at racing AND sandbagging (UN). Afterward, the cycle repeats. If you refuse to learn the new techniques how do you plan to become better at this game? Take that "EYE AIN'T LERNIN DAT TEQNIQE 4 NOOBS" mentality elsewhere because you are only decreasing your own potential and consequently the potential of your clan as a whole!
P.S. - If ANYONE out there doubts ANYTHING I said, PM me and I will enlighten you with some interesting chatlogs.
P.S. 2 - I realize Xene's post is directed toward KT; well, mine isnt. Mine is directed DEFINITELY toward BB and to a lesser degree at Evul. Although I must admit, I find it ironic that it's coming from KT since they monopolized the shock game earlier when they were "the team to beat" (1-2 mos ago). Their shock play was what inspired Unity to experiment with the "ever so rare, power of injustice," which we continue to perfect day by day.
P.S. 3 - Sorry if this starts a flame war. I'm not flaming. I'm doing my best to let those elite clans (with voice comm) to realize the error in their ignorance (BB). And for those elite clans who do not have voice comm (Evul) I have already sent a personal invite to join our vent and then hopefully begin the experimentation.
P.S. 4 - I realize my argument was somewhat weakened due to the fact that we lost to BB, but if you knew anything about what happened on vent that day you would realize it wasn't the sandbag technique that failed us that day it was our voice comms. (ex: me having to shut off mic for 2 WHOLE RACES due to personal issues and YK's mic not reading his voice ALL OF 3RD GP.) These reasons don't excuse our loss, good job to you BB we will get you next time!
But if you read the margin that we lost by (
ONLY 26) you will realize that is minimal compared to what it should have been if the technique was flawed.
The choice is yours guys - stay ignorant and lose to FV and/or UN OR go out, learn these techs, and pwn us. I won't bring this up again in this board because it outlines exactly how i feel about the situation, in the nicest way possible.
