Say, Unity attacks SD. It doesn't matter if they win or lose, their status is automatically set to defending.

So they can only defend in there next match. And after defending, whether succesfully or unsuccesfully, they'll be forced back into attack mode.

All teams with no property are in attack mode by default, for obvious reasons.

So match order would pretty much go Attack/Defend/Attack/Defend and so on.

So minimally after succesfull attacking 32 times and succesfully defending 31 times succesfully that team will have all the tracks. And they'll be the winner.

It makes Clan Territory Wars a lot of sense to me and is more pointed that way.

at this point, I don't think any clan could feasibly get all 32 tracks, with KT, Unity, SD, TGS and ICE all vying for territory.

I mean, ofcourse it can't be done with the rules were going by now.

A clan after acquiring a territory for the most part has to defend all of it's territories.

Whereas, with the rules I've suggested they'll be attacking inbetween defending, instead of defending for the most part.

So the suggestion I came up makes it more possible. Even so, if you think no one will be able to do it, not everyone else does. Some teams will be driven to acquire all 32 tracks, and maybe they can do it.

A lot of people didn't think we could put a man on the moon, but, it happened.

I like the idea of taking tracks, to eventually win cups... it'd be owning countries in continents... and then you could win the GPs, which would be like hemispheres, so that two teams would be left to challenge for the world, ie, the Game!

It'd take a lot of thinking to get it all fair and good, but that would work to a definate winner, eventually.

I love this point. Actually, this was a growing concern of mine. Not to be arrogant but Unity has been racking up tracks and therefore forced to defend each course it has obtained. We were defending quite a bit more than we were obtaining. Speed's method makes the probability of getting all 32 tracks much higher not to mention this way if one clan approaches total control they won't be defending 90% and attacking 10% of the time.

Also, a chronogical list should be made if one clan has been attacked numerous times simultaneously, so they aren't overwhelmed and can sytematically approach who to defend against and in what order.

Lastly, the one downfall of this plan would be that one clan could push toward monopolizing the tracks so the remaining clans could boycott that clan. In that case, said clan would be stuck in defend position with no one challenging them (Conversely, a clan could wish to stay in attack position so they don't need to defend their course). Therefore, there should be some limit where the clan is stuck in attack/defend position - something like 3 days. After 3 days, you are automatically converted to the reciprocal position.

Unlikely maybe so, but impossible definitely not. With the current methodology though, I would have to say impossible. As a clan approaches total control their rate of attack become infinitesimal and rate of defense becomes immense. AKA stalemate: you're limiting the game play to the point where you have so many tracks and once you reach that limit all you can do is go downhill.

but can't a team only have 3 active challenges at a time?

does this limit say a team with 3+ tracks to just defending all the time? they can't attack if they have 3 active challenges. :is confused:
