Well I hope you guys like my newest idea for the forums If you don't like it please don't be rude about them just somply give constructive critisicm.
The option for users to hide posts on there threads.
This idea can be used for all members or just Vips.
I can't see any flaws to this idea as I've thought it through quite well. Many times a user will come across a post in there threads that is rude or spam. Nobody likes that do they? So the simple option for the user to do would be to hide the post on that thread. This idea I have come across on other forums which has worked well. Upon hiding the message you must give a reason for hiding the post. Its not optional its compulsary. If a moderator finds a user to be abusing this ability then it simply gets removed from them.
It would look something like this.
The users avatar in normal place then in place of the message it would say - "The contents of this message have been hid by the owner of this thread - then the reason.
Edit - With many users opinions we have come together to think that possibly, only having trusted members of the site to have this power. We have thought through that New members would highly abuse the system therefore suggesting maybe only the selected should get this.
