"Luigi, look!", cried Mario. "We won a trip!"
"Really? To where?"
"Now that I read this, it... doesn't say."

(Bowser's Castle)
"Grah ha ha! I just won a contest! I'm going to invite Peach with me!"

Mario and Luigi were strolling to Peach's castle to tell her the good news. Simultaneously, Bowser was marching to the same destination. When they both arrived... at the same time...
"Hey! What-a you doing here?"
"Huh? What are you doing here? Blocking my path, eh Mario Bros?"
"Well, not really. I just came to invite Peach to go on vacation with myself and Luigi...."
Just as Bowser heard that, he thought deeply inside his head angrily for a moment while Mario kept blabbering on.
"...and we're going to get a sun tan, a swim in the pool, maybe even a romantic dinner-"
"Alright, that's ENOUGH!"
"Luigi, any idea what got him in a bad temper?"
"Mario, how the heck am I supposed to know."
"OUTTA MY WAY, weaklings!"
Bowser pushed the Mario Bros to the side and ran in Peach's castle. Mario and Luigi followed. Peach was nowhere to be found. The three exited the castle and Mario started "Any idea where the princess could be? Let's do a search party! This could be serious!"
Then Bowser answered "While I hate to agree with you, you are correct. I'll go get the Koopalings to search until they can't even stand on their own two feet, haha. I'm going to rest."
Just as Bowser was walking away, Mario said "You're just going to sit on your big butt? Fine, but don't come to us if you get sick worried about the princess."
"Whatever."
Bowser left.
"Luigi, should we assemble a search party?"
"Sure, but first, I'm hungry. I need spaghetti... and lot's of it!"
"Ugh! Fine! You go swim in your spaghetti. I guess I'll have to find her myself!"
Mario stormed off.

(That night)
"This is such a nice meal you cooked. Thanks!"
"No problem, Peach. Anytime! Amy, you ready?"
There was a yell from upstairs.
"No! That was the 5th time you asked me!"
Peach then asked "Where are you two going anyway... Sonic?"
"Oh, it's our 1st anniversary since we've been dating. We're going to a restaurant. Tails will be here to keep you company."
Then Tails, hearing that, walked slowly into the kitchen.
"But Sonic, I'm too tired. Can't she just watch TV or something?"
Sonic replied "Please, we have a guest over. In fact, not just a guest, but a princess from a different world!"
Peach then said "I just hope that Mario is ok... he's probably worried about me."
"I'm sure he's fine."

(The forest of Illusion)
Mario was searching for a few hours now and his torch just went out.
"ARGH!"
