The crowd was bustling with excitement. Green, red, brown, yellow, blue... just some of the colours that filled the castle hall from one corner to another. From the familiar faces of Goomba's, to the somewhat more unfamiliar faces of various creatures from other parts, all the villains of the Mushroom Kingdom were here. A pair of Koopa's stood in a corner, trading insults, their turtle-like bodies twitching with anger. And at the front of the brown-bricked, murky castle hall stood Kamek, a higher-authority, robed Koopa with a witches hat, trusted by Bowser over the rest of his minions. A wand clutched in her hand, as always.
“Now everyone, everyone, his royal grumpiness will be here any time soon, and-”
Her speech was cut off by a tomato splatting her face, thrown from the direction of the very creatures she was attempting to take control of. The crowd erupted with laughter, a strange mix of high-pitched cackles, and deep, throaty, coughing sounds. Kamek shook with anger, before storming off into a doorway to her left.
“Your royal evilness, you cannot continue to keep the visitors waiting”, exclaimed Kamek, in a more high-pitched tone than usual.
“Gwah! Like I want to see those blockheads anyway”, a deep, rough voice replied from the shadows. The room Kamek had entered was none other than King Bowser's throne room. Pretty much as dull and colourless as the as the rest of the castle, with an exception of paintings of himself, in various poses.
“King Bowser, I insist you come and talk to them, all of Mushroom Kingdom's villains are back there-”
“All of them? Gwah! I'll teach them to disturb the Mighty King Bowser while he rests!”
“No, Sir, I really don't think that's a good-”
“Oh, who cares what you think? I'm the King here!”
Then from the shadows at the back of the room emerged the a sight for all to behold.. The tall, bulky figure of Bowser!
He stepped toward the door, every movement he made shaking the walls and floor. Kamek tried to warn him one more time, but all in vain.
Bowser's stubby, yellow, clawed hand pressed against the door, and with one, strong push, threw it open, slamming it against the wall on the other side...
...and a chorus of menacing, frustrated voices invaded his ears, filling his head with insults, complaints, and questions.
To be continued in Chapter Two- The Beginning.
Well, this is my first fanfic. I've been wanting to write some for a while, but not got around to it. The name suggests a lot, and I've got an idea as to where the story is going.
I hope you enjoyed it, and I'd like to give a huge thanks to Agent L, who is reading it through before I post, and helping me along the way.
