This is a short story I made for school. I got an A for it! It is about two children trapped in an old manor with the evil Ms X. This story isn't really a true fan fiction, because it doesn't have any Mario characters such as Toad, Peach or anything. I did, however, change certain things to make it more Mario-ish, such as having a Pianta, setting it in the Mushroom Kingdom and mentioning the Tennis academy from Mario Tennis: Power Tour. These things obviously weren't in my original, but I hope you enjoy it anyway.

Queria Manor - Part One

Cleo was walking up one of the many hills in the Mushroom Kingdom with Othello, her best friend. They had just finished there daily training at the Royal Tennis Academy, and the decided to take a stroll. Cleo was an average-looking thirteen year-old, who had a square-shaped birthmark on her neck. Othello was a nice, quiet and smart boy with a strange, purplish tint to his hair.
As they were strolling along, Cleo ran into a spiderweb, and it was all over her long, blonde hair.
“Uhhh...” shuddered Cleo, “I despise spiders”.
“Maybe we can find some water to wash the web out of your hair,” Othello suggested.
They spotted an old wooden sign with the faded words; ‘Queria Manor up ahead!’
“Let's try that place”, Othello said.
They came through a clearing and they saw the house. It was a gorgeous Victorian mansion, which was in disrepair. Windows were broken and the roof had many holes.
The garden however, was pristine and beautiful. It was vast and contained many stunning flowers.
The children meandered through the garden, impressed. There was a huge, pompous stone fountain in the middle.
“Wash your hair in the fountain,” suggested Othello.
As Cleo did so, Othello wandered over to some lavender, which he sniffed.
“Seriously, these are the best things I have ever smelt,” said Othello, in a trance.
Cleo picked up a violet, “Ohhhhhh, yes! You are so right!”
The two of them sniffed and sniffed, getting drowsier and drowsier, until they fell fast asleep...

I'm going on holidays soon, so the next part may not come 'til later next week. Thanks!
