"Tell me again why we're out here, Luigi_Star?"
"I told you, Shadow. We need to find the legendary golden GCN controller."
"C'mon, Luigi_Star! We've been out here in this creepy forest for hours! And what's up with opening the story while it's nighttime out here?"
"Just trust me, Racer. I know it's out here somewhere. Why would Rex give us a map of this forest for it to be fake?"
"Well, you never know..."

We walk and walk for another 15 minutes, with me constantly checking the map.

"Ugh... Can we stop now? I gotta take a leak."
"We don't really need to know that, Racer."

YoshiRacer walks behind a tree while the rest of us huddle around the map.

"Ok, so we walk straight for another 200 paces, then we should find a...weird...looking bush. Then we-"
"AAAAHH!"
"Racer! What's wrong?"

The bushes and plants russle where YoshiRacer once stood.

"WTF? Where did he go?!"
"Tails! Shine the flashlight there!"

Tails points his flashlight into the darkness of the woods. We all glance around, hoping to find out where YoshiRacer had gone.

"Racer! Where are you?!"

No reply. Suddenly, a huge humanoid figure holding YoshiRacer ran out of the darkness, knocking all of us down.

"AAAAHH! Get your hands of me, you n00b!"

The figure that held YoshiRacer ran on the trail, then slipped back into the darkness. A strange-looking hovering cup floated away with them inside. The three of us left stared at each other, trying to understand WTF just happened.



"We've gotta go after them!"
"I doubt we'll catch a cup flying at 100 mph when we can only run a fraction of that speed, little bro."
"That flying vehicle sure did look familiar..."
"How? Where'd you see it before?"
"It instantly reminded me of Super Smash Bros Brawl for some reason... Bowser, too. That thing that grabbed Racer sure did look alot like him... I just couldn't see it very well."
"We're gonna need to get Racer back. He's participating in a tournament tomorrow! You know how strict the rules are for tournaments."
"Yeah. How are we gonna get him, though?"
"I know someone... A buddy of mine that's an inventor and racer of super-fast vehicles..."
"Who?"
"Haste. We'll set up camp here for the night, and we'll make our way back to MKW.com City in the morning."

THE NEXT MORNING...

*Yawn* "Hey! Guys! We've gotta get back to the city!"

Shadow and Tails roll out of their tents and pack up. We're back on the trail in 10 minutes.

"Luigi_Star, you still have the energy bars, right?"
"Yeah."

I grab 3 energy bars out of my camping pack and give them two of them.

4 EXHAUSTING HOURS LATER...
We make our way up a large hill and out of the forest. We peer out of the brush and see the city.

"Finally! We're back!"

We make our way to the highway. A police car pulls over. Jordzz rolls down the window.

"Jordzz! You mind giving us a ride back to the inner city?"
"Not at all. Jump in the back."

We all cram ourselves into the small backseat and we pull off.
10 MINUTES LATER AT MARIO KART WII GENERAL AVENUE...

"Thanks for the ride, Jordzz."
"No problem."

We overhear the police scanner.
"We have a trolling incident on General Discussion Street. All units respond."

"Alright, gotta go. Take it easy!"

Jordzz pulls off.

"So, when do we meet this Haste?"
"Well, if I remember correctly, his apartment is on the 17th floor."

We enter the building and walk up to Gamesmart101.

"Hey, Luigi_Star. Log in here, please."

Gamesmart points to the login sheet on the counter. Me, Shadow and Tails sign our names and enter our passwords.

"Later, Gamesmart!"
"Alright. Peace!"

We jump in the elevator.
16 FLOORS LATER...
We exit the elevator.

"321... 323... 325... Aha! 327."

I knock on the door.

"Who dares disturb Haste?"
"Um... Haste, it's Luigi_Star."

Haste opens the door.

"Ah! Haste is pleased you dropped by!"
"Hey, Haste. Can I ask you a favor?"
"Anything for my dear friends from the Star Racerz! What did you have in mind for Haste to help you with?""
"A friend of ours was kidnapped last night out in the forest. We're gonna need to get him back."
"Haste is most concerned! Haste will help you!"

He invites us into his apartment, and we discuss what happened.

"Unbelievable! If it's actually Bowser behind this, you will endure a test of skill and stamina to make it to his castle! What vehicles do you have in mind to help you accomplish this daring journey?"
"I'll take the Mach Bike."
"Same here."
"Same."
"Ah, three Mach Bikes. Haste will upgrade them to endure the great journey!"
"Thanks, Haste. We're gonna need all the help we can get."


"Bwahahahahaaa! All clan leaders captured!"

Bowser looked around his prison room. Every clan leader in MKW.com City was held in dozens of prison cells.

"Let us outta here, you turtle freak!"
"You wouldn't want to make me mad, Luigi_Star."
"Huh?"
"Don't act stupid, Luigi_Star!"
"I'm YoshiRacer, you n00b!"

Bowser's eyes squinted as he thought.

"Th- Then where's the REAL Luigi_Star?!"
"He's still..."

YoshiRacer caught himself.

"WHERE?!"
"None of your business, you mutant freak!"
"Ha... He's on his way, isn't he?"
"Ye- N- I don't know!"
"Yes you do. You don't want to tell me he's coming, but then you KNOW he is! He wouldn't leave a member behind, now would he?"

YoshiRacer was getting angrier and angrier by the second.

"Just STFU! When he and the other members get here, they will PWN you!"
"Hahahahahaaa! I wouldn't get too cocky, little YoshiRacer."

YoshiRacer wanted to believe his friends would succeed, but he just couldn't shake the thought that they could fall...

BACK AT THE TRAINING GROUNDS IN MKW.COM CITY...

"Haste is sure these will fit your liking, Star Racerz! Your first destination is Luigi Circuit."
"Well, let's hit the road! Thanks for your help, Haste."
"Haste is always pleased to help out a friend in need! Good luck, Luigi_Star."

I nod as we get on our bikes and head out of Haste's garage. We get on the highway heading to the local course, Luigi Circuit.

BACK AT BOWSER'S CASTLE...

Bowser is on the phone with a Koopa Troopa at Luigi Circuit.

"Keep a lookout for him and his little buddies, Troopa!"
"Yes, sir."

Bowser hangs up the phone and goes back to his prison cell.

"Let us out! Star Street has no idea where I am!"
"Enough! You clan leaders don't seem very tough when you're restrained behind bars, are you?"
"You're the weakling! You can't face us by yourself! You have to kidnap us and throw us in prison cells!"
"How dare you?! You're pathetic!"
"Don't talk to him like that! He's the leader of L.I.T, you ill-bahaved mutant!"

Bowser scoffed as he walked back out of the room.

"Thanks, YoshiRacer."
"No problem."
"We need to find a way out of here, guys!"
"Sorry, Diz. There's no way out... We've all tried."

Dizma fell silent.

"It's ok, Diz. We'll get out of here. We just gotta hope my fellow members get here soon enough..."
"We all hope..."

AT CITY HALL IN REX'S OFFICE...

The office door opens abrubtly. LuigiMan enters.

"Mr. Mayor-"
"Please LuigiMan, just call me Rex."
"Right. Sorry."
"What's the news, LuigiMan?"
"Sir, a number of clan leaders and members have gone missing since yesterday. The only leader still safe is Luigi_Star. Him and a couple of his members are on there way to Luigi Circuit. They're wanting to confront Bowser."
"Luigi_Star? Star Racerz?"
"Yes sir."
"Oh no... I doubt only a couple members can take on Bowser's entire army of racers..."
"We...just received a message from Bowser a few hours ago. He's threatening to take over the city."
"What? Oh no..."

Rex suddenly understood the seriousness of the event.

"Well, all we can do is hope Luigi_Star and his friends can pull through on this..."

BACK ON THE ROAD WITH OUR HEROES, LOL...

"There it is, Luigi_Star."

We pulled off the highway and onto the exit ramp.
"Luigi Circuit" The sign read.

"Hey! You three!"
"Excuse me?"
"Are you Luigi_Star?"
"Yeah..."
"In respect of Lord Bowser, I declare a 3-on-3 race with your standing members."
"And if I refuse?"
"Lord Bowser could easily delete your friends' accounts, and they could never return."
"Wow, you're a cruel little turtle."
"Fine. How many laps?"
"Three. Get in your positions."

All of us rolled our bikes to the start line, and got ready. The green Troopa lined up in first, the Goomba second, and the paratroopa third. Tails lined up for 4th, me in 5th, and Shadow 6th. Lakitu hovered in front, and started his lights. 3... 2... I started to rev my engine, along with the others. 1... The lights sparked green and everyone except the goomba took off. We started around the first corner, drifting and maintaining our line as best we could.

"Shadow! Cover me!"
"Ok!"

He blocked a couple red shells from the goomba, and we started drafting off each other to catch up to the paratroopa. Tails gradually worked his way up to second, waiting to pounce once a blue shell was thrown. I got a red shell and waited for the paratroopa to let his guard down. I had it in my hand, waiting for the right moment.

"You better back off, Luigi!"

Without knowing, a red shell curved around me and headed for the paratroopa. That was it. I threw the red shell. Shadow's was blocked, but mine was right behind it and hit the paratroopa.

"Nice timing, buddy!"

Second lap. Tails in first, Troopa in second, me in third and Shadow in 4th. We got our items. Luck shone upon us. Shadow got a blue shell.

"Hold it until the last lap!"
"I know!"

The rest of the race was just green shells and banana peels. Troopa regained 1st and Shadow made his move. That blood-curtling swish of the blue shell flew over my head. Seconds later, BOOM. We passed the finish line. Tails, me, then Shadow. We won the race, and owned it.

Chapter 5: The Return of a Great Ally

Once the race was over, we returned to the in-field in the center of the track.

"Was that enough butt-whoopin for ya?"
"This wasn't supposed to happen! Lord Bowser will be so upset..."
"Learn to choose your opponents more carefully next time, buddy."

The troopa walked away, his head dangling in defeat. Suddenly, a familiar voice came from behind us.

"Wow! Amazing!"

We all turned around, and found our thought-to-be-kidnapped partner, Calobrin.

"Calo! Welcome back, buddy!"
"Thanks. I heard about YoshiRacer... Believe it or not, I'm worried about the guy..."
"I thought you guys never really respected each other?"
"Well, um... He was my partner. Can't hate him for that."
"True."
"I hate to break up these kind of moments, but we need to get to Moo Moo Meadows, and fast. Every clan leader's account is on the line. Including YoshiRacer."
"Right. I know the quickest route there. Follow me."

The three of us glanced at each other and got on our bikes. We fired up the engines and drove off, ready for our next endeavour.

AT BOWSER'S CASTLE...
Bowser talks to the troopa.

"WHAT?! You failed me?"

...

"That's no excuse! You have failed me AGAIN!"

Bowser hangs up the phone in anger.

"It's only the first course... They still have 31 more..."

I wonder if Haste knows about this.

I like it! I wonder how ToadRacer will react. lol

I tried to mimick his personality as best I could.
