It's not done tastefully, it's just violence for the sake of violence.
Not really, Its violence because thats what murderers can do to people...

Words - so innocent and powerless as they are, as standing in a dictionary, how potent for good and evil they become in the hands of one who knows how to combine them. ~Nathaniel Hawthorne

What I mean is that it does not improve the story at all. The violence makes it worse, at least try to tone it down. At this rate nobody will read your story because it's over-the-top disgusting and horrific, and not in a good way.
Alright, thanks for the Advice, Ill be sure to tone it down.

Detailed violence in stories is good to some extent, but tons of it just seems like a bad horror movie. Tone it down little brother and use it when the story needs it.

Detective Selena Alvero got into her office as she got onto her coumputer, She sat on the sof cusiony Fabric as she adjusted the chair. Her room for some reason smelled like fresh cherries. She had eaten them later that day. Now it was 9:37 P.M. she and detective Jesse Reyna were notified of the murder on the snow Flagstaff mountains. She cracked her knuckles as she touched the cold and hard mouse, on her J.A.R.Radio mousepad And moved it over the start menu, And clicked it. She thought to herself, Why would someone do such a thing, who is someone with a name that has a S and a L? Jesse was supposed to arrive at the office at 9:15, It was 9:43 Now, and selena was well worried. She exited out and she moved her mouse to picture 3 the last one, this one showed the girls cheek with the note attacted, right next to her frozen tears. Selenas eyes watered, She exited out and stared at her computer screen for about 5 minutes, Her background was a picture of Detective Jeremy and her. "Yeah, About that..." Selena pointed to the blood. "Oh, I cut my finger on accident. I rubbed it on my shirt" He said. Then she showed him the letter and pictures.
