CHAPTER ONE-JORDAN
Alex stood up.He looked out across the city,knowing that today that would all come to an end.His task was to deliver the child,and he would do that.
Jordan felt a sickening feeling deep inside him.Something terrible was going to happen.
He knew it,becuase that was what he had been told.But when it came,it was incredible.
High atop the city,Alex looked across the water to see it coming.He walked inside,and several bright lights flashed over him.They hit tower blocks,and exploded in a bright light of destruction.Cars and people went flying past the lights,and across the water,where a dark shape was moving to the city.This shape flew over the city,and began to morph.
Jordan fell to the floor,shaken by the tower collapsing.He was running for his life.To get out the city.More bright lights flew over his head,and destoryed more buildings.The shape above had morphed into a wormhole.Buildings,objects...anything was getting sucked in.It was the end of days.
Alex walked across the highway,past all the fleeing people,running like they could survive.He saw one person on the floor,about to be devoured by a creature which came from the monster.He looked down,and drew his gun.In less than a second,the creature went flying,and dissolved into the wormhole.He reached his hand down to Jordan,and said
"Get up.We have a job to do"Jordan took his hand,and clambered to his feet.
"What is that?"His voice was shaking.
"You will need this."Alex handed Jordan a gun.He pointed at another creature along from them "You shoot them."Jordan steadily raised his gun,aimed it at the creature,and with a shaking hand he fired twice.They soared over the creature,and colided with a massive being.It let out a bloody scream,and collapsed on the floor in a mass of shadowy light.With that,all of the other creature dissolved back into the wormhole.Jordan looked up at the thing in the sky,and said
"We're going to die,arent we?"
"No."Alex walked along,to a large building.He entered,and started climbing up the stairs.Jordan followed him,but stopped to gasp at the window.Everything outside was destroyed.Smoldering wreckage remained,but nothing else.At the rooftop,Alex looked at him,and said one line.
"It begins here"He raised his gun,and shot Jordan.Jordan went soaring off the edge.
