Logbook Entry 1
Rich Johnson was the picture of health. He was also burly, and would often consider his natural strength a blessing, but it was about to become his curse. Because of this health and strength, he was drafted to fight in Vietnam. As he stood in the middle of an airfield with about 30 other recruits as his new platoon leader addressed him. "Listen up you pieces of s***! This is war! And in war, you don't have a mommy to look after you and wipe you ass for you! Now I don't give a damn that some of you are black and some of you are white. Out here, not of that s*** matters. Now once you get on that plane, you lives are never gonna be the same, so i want you to brace yourselves now. Any of you may die, maybe all of you." with that, the he guided the platoon into the plane, headed toward northwestern Quang Tri Provence.

I really like the 'energic' start to it. Even though I like Rich's personality, I hope you won't make him a Rambo, Gary Stu like character, know what I mean; don't make him the big hero. I think this war environment needs more than that.
Literary-wise, it's really proefficient so far. Please write moar <=O
There is a meaning for wings that cannot fly!
It's a precious memory of when you once flew in the sky.

no, expect more of a Platoon (the movie) type feel of the hardships of war.
