How do you paste a render onto a radial gradient?

I'm very new to GIMP.Every time I paste a render it shows up with a white BG.

Either copy and paste the render or save the render, then go to Files---->Open as Layer and click on the render.

Do I need a HQ render or a render from Planet Renders because the white BG is still showing up.

If a white background is still showing up, it might not be a render in the first place. Try a different render.

make sure its PNG, and has a transparent background.
regardless, you cant use "copy>paste" from the browser. you have to save the image, and then drag it into your signature canvas with the move tool or w/e

Get a render from planetrenders and copy the location... then hit file > open location on GIMP

Either take a transparent background render, or just cut out what you want of the render with a scissor + erase parts you dont like or want.
