ok...as probably most of you know...this forum has a sig of the month. It was started by me a couple months ago and has become pretty succesful. Now I need your guys' opinion on some stuff.

first of all, I'm wondering if I should continue the all members contest...it is not very specific and not nearly as famous....so I'm wondering if I should keep it or not.

also, many of you think that sig of the month takes too long, some are suggesting we do sig of the week instead....but with sig of the week, comes more work for me because I run this thing, lol.....also, it would be frantic for the other judges and I might have to fire 2 or all of them, hehehe.

so, I want all your suggestions...concerns...comments

I say keep it sig of the month but make the entries last for only 1 week.
and after one week is done no more entries =p

Maybe we should combine the two competions. Does it realy matter if it was a sig maker or not who made it. Usually it was just a sig maker who made it and gave it to a non-sig maker. And then since we only have one contest then we could make it weekly or biweekly.

definitely keep sig of the month. Although it may not be really popular there are poeple who like to do it. I think you guys should do more contests though. Things that more people can compete in. Sig making is hard and only like a small percent of people on here can do a great job on it.

hmm keep it sig of the month, but have the entries only be for aweek or two, then release the winner! hah then he gets time to gloat before the next months competion,

yes! sig of the month! 1 week for entries. better than a month.

Sig of the Week, let the general public vote for the sigs they like. Thus you don't have to worry as much about judging.

Three seperate threads, one for entries, one for voting, and one for discussion. That way you don't have to arrange the entries and discussion is all in one other thread.

sig of the week and the voting seems to work great in other forums (planetrenders)
but I'm not sure that we have enough commitment here....we might have to do sig of the week and leave one week just for voting (actually, that might work)
