Intro

This thread was started on the 19th June to view people opinions on my work so far, so feel free to offer constructive criticism and ratings. I am currently starting my third week of using GIMP now.

the text is way to big and i dont like the color, the renders where slapped onto a basic fractacal bg, there is no lighing or contrast, there is no border on it, and the colors hut my eyes

BUMP. I’ve updated the sig by using a range of brushes this time, toned down the colour, tried to blend the picture in better, added a better font, added a border and tried to use light and contrast. Looking forward to your suggestions of areas in which I need to focus on for the next attempt and further attempts.

there is no depth there but as ur a beginner, its something to think about in the future. Lighting is also an area to work with, just take a look at some tutorials and they will really help u out.

Man i like that last image best. With such a nice backround then such a nice image to the side, nobody cares how much space you leave open. Long as you have a nice image and/or nice backround. But all in all i got say you made some nice changes which made the image get better and better
