all the good comments I heard about brawl. I got it today and it's pretty... not what people made it out to be. I was excpecting it to be better than mario kart and it's not even close. I still like it a little but I'm still disappointed. The wifi is extremely horrible!! I had to LOL when my wifi game first started because it kept pausing and going but then it worked regular. Why isn't the wifi like mario karts??? On the bright side you can build your own fight place

I got Brawl before Mario Kart.

Anyways, it's hated because it just wasn't melee. No wavedashing. No L-canceling. Wavebouncing is still there, but its not enough. So is Ukemi/Tech-Chasing. Plus it just wasn't fast paced. Brawl had chain grabs, which ruined most of it. I remember the grabs from Melee always lead to combos, but Brawl was just a grab to another and another. <_< Nothing else. It's like alcohol. One sip to another and another.

Personally...i dont think its that bad. People always bitch about it being terrible, but its really not. I was just happy to have some new characters and levels. Not to mention a somewhat engaging story mode. People always bitch about how the WIFI is ****ty, but Melee had NONE, making brawls an immediate improvement.

Stop bitching people...just enjoy games.

Im not bitching just confused. I heard good things about this game but it's not as good as people made it out to be

Come on, stop saying that a game with crappy wi-fi is a crappy game. If you need online to enjoy this game then you shouldn't have bought it.

I imagine how people enjoyed videogames a few years ago, when none game was online.

im not talking directly to you. What you said about brawl is rather calm than what ive seen

i just hate how EVERY game has something wrong with it. but then again thats peoples personal opinions

I hardly play Brawl's wi-fi. So that's why I'm not including that. I never said ANYTHING about WFC. I just said, the gameplay is a way way down from Melee, heck, from 64.

Normally I'd go to ULG tournaments or smashfests down at Cali. Before I bought MK.

I use to love super smash bros. 64! I actually still have it but now I think it's stupid.

N64 is still better than Brawl IMO
