Before I start, I'd like to say thanks to Flammie, who gave me permission to make this guide in the first place but instead of Yoshi, I'm replacing him with a humble fighter who's dated back to the 80's, yes, it's Mr Game and Watch.
Note: I play using the Wiimote held sideways so you may have to improvise depending on your method of control.
Speed:
Mr Game and Watch is quite a fast runner so it's important to use his speed to get to important items like assist trophies, he also has a strong dash attack meaning his speed is very effective against characters that are slower than him.
Jumping:
Mr Game and Watch's double jump is fairly good, you can launch some pretty good air attacks using his jumps, but more on that later.
Weight:
Even though he's quite fast, he's quite easy to knock off the stage, but he makes up it for the fact his recovery move is good for horizontal recoveries, so it's not to much of a problem.
Special Attacks:
Like any other fighter, Mr Game and Watch has some good moves up his sleeve but heres how to use them to your full advantage.
Chef:
This is the move where Game and Watch exploits his culinary talents by flinging loads of food at you, this move is OK but not really his highlight. I'd recommend you using this on a high up area in the stage or use it will jumping to get the best out of it.
Judge:
This move requires complete luck to get the best effects out of it, but if it hits the way you wannt to, it's actually one of the most powerful moves in the game. Here is how it works, when you use it, you hit the foe and a number appears above your head, the higher the number, the greater the damage.
1 = An attack that won’t even cause your opponent to flinch, also damages you slightly.
2 = A weak attack without any special characteristics.
3 = An attack that pierces defenses.
4 = A slashing attack that launches opponents diagonally.
5 = Three electrical charges zap the opponent.
6 = A flame attack. Watch out if you’re near an explosive crate.
7 = A strong attack. A food item will also appear.
8 = An attack that freezes foes.
9 = A massive attack. The opponent will be launched as if hit with the Home-run Bat!
Don't depend on this attack too much, but use it when you have an opening!
Fire:
This is the name given to Mr Game and Watch's recovery move, it's quite handy and can be used as a good attack, but it's also a very good horizontal recovery move so it's very useful to get back on stage if you've been hit with a smash attack.
Oil Panic:
This attack is brilliant when there are characters who often have to remain on projectiles like R.O.B or Zelda, this attack catches projectiles in the bucket, and when you have 3 of them, you can use the Oil Panic move again for an extremely powerful attack. The attack strength equals that of the three projectiles combined, multiplied by 2.8.
Octopus:
This is his final smash, and a powerful one at that too. Keep pressing attack buttons so the tentacles can extend and do some damage, you can also jump twice while using the final smash, meaning you can hit foe's while they are up in the sky.
Basic attacks:
His basic attacks are also very useful to and can lead to some good K.O's
Smoke puffer:
I made this name up myself because I didn't actually know the name of the attack, if you keep rapidly pressing the attack button, you can get in quite a lot if hits that do 2-3% damage.
Key Smash:
This move is when I hold the 2 button and down button in the air for a strong attack which can do around 12%. Also, this attack has a meteor smash effect if you can hit your opponent in the air if they are litteraly on you, but it's hard to pull off.
Equal Rights:
This is the move where I am in the air, hold left or right depending on which way I'm facing and hitting the target with a large equal sign, it's a strong attack that can launch foe's far.
Turtle Whack:
This is like the 'Equal Rights' move but instead of pressing the attack button in the direction your facing, you press the opposite button instead, say if I was jumping to the left, I would hold the right button and attack instead. This move can get in a lot of hits but doesn't launch foes very far.
Goldfish Bonanza:
This attack is used by just pressing the attack button in mid-air, it's useful for getting foes away from important items like assist trophies.
Upward Blow:
This move makes Mr Game and Wtach blow some wind upwards which can keep opponents in the air, if used directly on the opponent, it can inflict some quite good damage.
Smash attacks:
Last but not least, here are Mr Game & Watch's smash attacks.
Upward smash attack:
This smash attack is very powerful and useful for KO'ing opponents, I'd recommend this smash attack if your opponent has high damage.
Down smash attack:
This is an odd one, it works like any other downward smash attack that hits the opponents from both sides, but if the opponent is just hit by the attack, they will be launched upwards, and if they are right on you, they will be launched sideways, this is an extremelly useful attack.
Side smash:
This is a powerful smash attack which burns the foe, so don't use it near an explosive crate!
That's all there is to him really so good luck in mastering the 2-D brawler!
You forgot his Whistle Blow attack (Airial Up A attack) where he will blow air upwards, plus he can blow some opponents upwards if they're above him while he performes this

OK Flammie, thanks, I'll add it now.

I have to admit, this is a very good guide. I've tried to use Mr. Game and Watch but I keep failing in using him. I swear that I'm going to use this guide. =D Sticky this.. anyone?
