Well I would try to get to save points and refresh you characters.
Also pick characters like Kirby,Meta Knight, Samus, and Snake.

just use what I said and that should help.
I beat it first try and I used them.
If you have ever got to a save point the you will see you
can change characters and if some were killed then you can get more.
